Hi, it’s nice to meet you.
Hi there, I'm Maya. I've been working in and for small businesses for my entire career. From my first job at a bagel shop to my years as an event florist, I'm intimately familiar with the day-to-day challenges and triumphs of small businesses.
I've never had a corporate job, stared at the clock wishing for 5 p.m. to come, or known what it's like to go on PTO and not give it another thought until I return. The businesses I've worked in have had small teams, from 2 to 20, where every person wears at least two hats to keep things running smoothly. The small business hustle is real, and there are many challenges. Cashflow and limited resources are common small business realities, but there are pros too—small business teams are close-knit and dedicated to each other. There's more room for creativity, freedom to set your own goals, and the ability to make changes quickly.
When I started my own business, I knew I wanted to keep working with the amazing people I'd met through my small business journey. I love helping my clients navigate the obstacles and find more freedom. I'm a people person at heart and I'm passionate about supporting the unique dreams and visions of small business owners.
In my role as a small business consultant, I apply the diverse skills and knowledge I've gained over the years. I don't just learn new things - I learn them quickly and immediately apply them to help you. My goal is to be the missing piece that solves the unique puzzle of your business.
